My stay at Hotel Lake View was average. The location is good and the room was clean, but there is room for improvement in terms of service and facilities. The staff was polite, but the overall experience did not fully meet my expectations. The food was decent, in breakfast they must need to improve. Overall, it was an okay stay and could be better with some improvements.
I booked a villa here for 4 days. Following are Pros & Cons as per my experience. Pros: 1. One of the best property in Ooty for a vacation with nice individual cottages with pathways with a garden for children. 2. Rooms are clean with polite & helpful staff. 3. Breakfast is very nice with several varieties. 4. The villa has a table for 4 just outside to sit and spend some good time. Cons: 1. Rooms neither had Heater or AC. Heater was available for extra cost which not informed upfront. 2. Property is away from the city centre which is good as well as bad. There is a problem to commute if you do not have your own vehicle. The hotel transport is pretty expensive. 3. The fire place also comes with a charge. 4. Given the room rates for Villa, they should either give a heater or firewood complimentary.
Excellent hospitality and perfect location! The location is ideal—close to everything in town yet peaceful. The staff went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay, and room service was super fast. We really enjoyed the food at the restaurant, especially the breakfast spread. The independent cottages give you a nice, homey feeling. Highly recommended!
Had a great stay at Hotel Lakeview. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the location offered excellent views. The food was good, especially the Grilled Fish, which I enjoyed very much. A small suggestion: adding kid-friendly dinner options like idli or dosa would be helpful for families traveling with young children. Apart from that, everything was excellent. Overall, a pleasant stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Ooty.
Stayed here for 5 days. The food is amazing. Thank you Moses. The location is picturesque! But beyond everything else the hospitality is so so good. The peeple here go out of their way to make your stay just perfect. Ajay, Robert, William, Mutarsar, Vijay, Aakosh and all the support staff. A big thank you from my mom, my girls and myself.
Good villa type room with a great valley view. Mattresses and living room were given in good condition. Bathroom was well maintained but bathtub was a bit inconvenient. HK staff responded quickly to our requests and were courteous always. Restaurant service led by Mr. Rilvan was excellent and served us with great hospitality and made us enjoy our stay thoroughly. Overall, a very good ambience and a good place to enjoy one's vacation.
